Part 2 of 3 · Helpful actions
Make room for something nourishing
A day can be full of things you have to do and empty of things that matter to you.
More than productivity
A helpful activity might offer enjoyment, connection, or a little accomplishment. It can be quiet, free, seated, or shared. Pick something that fits you rather than an ideal routine.
Notice, then adjust
Try a manageable version and notice your experience. A flat mood afterwards is information, not proof the activity was pointless. You can change the timing, company, or size next time.
What it looks like
Alex used to sketch but does not want a new project. They leave a pencil nearby and draw the shape of a cup while listening to a song. It is a moment of interest, not a transformation.
Try it now
Choose one small activity for connection, interest, or purpose. Decide when and where it fits. If you want, use the mood log to notice how the day felt; there is no target score.
This is skills education, not a substitute for professional care. You can pause any exercise. Need support?
